Beautiful sunset - beautiful poem
If you're ever with someone who is perfect - who is beautiful beyond words but you still feel you want to try to put down those words so that they realise how much of an effect that person has on you - then you'll know why I wrote the following 'beautiful' poem. Poetry or rhymes are always very personal, and I hope this particular rhyme comes through with an essence of the beauty that I see in the subject in my mind.

When I sit down and think what I need in life,
the answers are not always clear.
I believe that I need some stability
and a job, and a life without fear.
But even these things are not paramount,
I'd cope with the loss of all three.
The things I need most in my life, my love,
is for you to be here beside me.
You are an exceptional person,
and I wake up each day with a grin.
I treasure each moment you're with me,
as it gives me such fire deep within.
My life until you was a journey,
and I feared I might never arrive.
But now I have you here beside me:
and you're all I need to survive.
