Flowers for mother - happy mother's day 2012!
This is a sweet little mother's day poem that I've written for 2012. This is the first year that I've written a specific poem for my own Mother's Day card, eschewing my usual lazy option of simply taking a card from the rack at the local card shop. I've started to change those habits, partially out of a desire to save a few pennies (cards are very expensive these days!) but also to express my love properly.
Anyway, I digress, for this Mother's Day I have composed the following poetry in order to hopefully express how I feel about a wonderful mother, who has always known how to look after and love me best.
A mother with joy
with love like no other,
a mother who clearly loves being a mother.
A mother who gives
with the strength of a tower,
a mother who loves us no matter the hour.
A mother who's there
to share wisdom and time.
A thank you, for all, in this Mother's Day rhyme.
