Christmas Poetry
This is a 2012 Christmas Poem that I wrote this year to include in a number of christmas cards and gifts that I sent. 2012 has been a special year for me, and Christmas time is a wonderfully fun and vibrant time to send a card, poem or message to any loved one. I particularly enjoy writing a good christmas themed ecard or poetry so that others know how much I'm thinking of them, and xmas poetry in particular really makes me feel festive. A fun Christmas poem
If Christmas is a time gone past,
that came so quick and went so fast,
a memory of lights and toys,
of feeling warm, a grip of joys...
If Christmas feels like that for you,
then here's a few things that I do
to wrench the fun back to my eyes
and make some brand new memories.
Nostalgia helps, so look for old,
those toys once loved are oft still sold,
and family that you lived with once,
are waiting still for Christmas Lunch.
The heart you used to have was light,
no stresses, worries - just delight
at what was then the perfect season
- it still can be, there is no reason.
Find the Christmas Spirit best
that lies deep in your wiser chest
and make the yuletide spirit call:
